Utilities Operations Plant Operator 1 job description: ensuring understanding of department policies, work procedures, and standards, executing utilities operations, and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environment standards.
Requirements
- Ensure understanding of department policies, work procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Support periodic revision of policies, standards, guidelines, work processes and procedures
- Prepare and utilize chemical substances according to instructions and labeling
- Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions and procedures
- Inspect machinery and equipment on a regular basis
- Collect and test water and sewage samples
- Record control value and daily activities in the log book
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for maintenance activities
- Assist senior members in coordinating with clients
