Utility Technician

This Utility Technician position provides support across various operations, gaining hands-on experience in pipeline operation and maintenance tasks. The position offers targeted training and hands-on experience to advance through a career path that prepares employees for various roles in pipeline operations.

Requirements

• Learn to safely operate and care for a variety of tools, equipment, and vehicles used in daily operations.
• Assist in inventory and restocking of supplies and materials.
• Participate in training sessions and safety meetings to gain knowledge of operations and procedures.
• Conducts routine inspection and operation of all equipment and pipelines.
• Responds to alarms and problems within the pipeline system and makes appropriate corrections.
• Performs or assists with a variety of Mechanical Maintenance and Repair duties.
• Accurately complete documentation such as; timesheets, UpKeep work orders, and Job Safety Analysis.
• Effectively utilizes tools and tests equipment as needed.
• Performs and accurately documents regulatory required inspections.
