Job Description
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating miscellaneous computerized numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines in 8595 (Turbine Disk) at Williams International. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of machining experience and the ability to read, understand, and correctly interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications.
Requirements
- High School or GED and a minimum of 2 years of machining experience in both mills and lathes
- Reads, understands and correctly interprets blueprints, planning and manufacturing specifications
- Demonstrated working knowledge of machining and/or testing related mathematical concepts
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Ability to push or pull a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (if needed)
