Job Description
Williams International is a privately-owned company that develops and manufactures jet engines for both military and commercial aircraft applications. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setup and operation of miscellaneous computerized numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines, ensuring that machines are properly tooled and following engineering and customer standards and specifications.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- 2 years of machining experience, primarily laser weld machines
- Ability to read, understand and correctly interpret blueprints, planning and manufacturing specifications
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Ability to push or pull a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
