Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team at Williams International. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating miscellaneous computerized numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines, primarily Puma lathes. The Machinist will also ensure that machines are properly tooled and make recommendations to modify programs as appropriate.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience, primarily Puma lathes
- Ability to read, understand and correctly interpret blueprints, planning and manufacturing specifications
- Demonstrated working knowledge of machining and/or testing related mathematical concepts
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Ability to push or pull a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
