Williams International is seeking an Inspector to join their team. The Inspector will perform first piece, tool proof, receiving and final inspection. The position is for 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm) and requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1-2 years of experience, and experience with CMM systems and GD&T.
Requirements
- Performs inspections for first article and production readiness
- Manufacture and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation
- Perform inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are manufactured in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications
- Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
- Experience with executing programs on CMM equipment
- Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensure that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
- Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of machined parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput.
