Helper P&I

Helpers will be assigned to assist one or more craftsmen and miscellaneous tasks, performing duties such as furnishing materials, cleaning work areas, and using power tools and hand tools.

Requirements

• Follow the rules of safe conduct always
• Use standard and/or metric rule to measure
• Demonstrate ability to use whole numbers, fractions and decimals to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Identify, recognize and demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for the job
• Assist craft person
• Perform manual excavation
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
