Instrument Operator - Surveying

This is an opportunity to work as an Instrument Operator-Surveying for WSP in their Valhalla, NY office. The role involves performing field surveys, complying with safety guidelines, and exercising responsible decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 0-2 years of experience. They should also have effective interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-2+ years of experience
• Valid driver's license
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives
• Must possess a willingness to learn
• Ability to work outside in all climates
• Effective self-leadership with attention to detail, ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, and comply with company policies
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek
