CRNA provides anesthetic care for patients in cooperation with physicians, administering anesthesia and monitoring patient physical reactions to ensure safety and care.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in West Virginia
• Board certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
• Maintains patient safety at all times
• Maintains excellence in airway management
• Works within scope of delineated clinical privileges
• Takes precautions to minimize risks of infection
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Participates in pre-anesthetic evaluation and selection of anesthetic agents and techniques
