Job Description
xAI is seeking an AI/HPC Network Development Engineer to design and develop large-scale networks for their AI systems. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in network design and operation, with a focus on ethernet AI/HPC. They should have expertise in creating metrics for performance and operations, and experience with Python for automating tasks and analyzing large data sets.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years designing and operating large scale networks
- 5 years in ethernet AI/HPC space
- Deep understanding of congestion control on ethernet
- Deep understanding of AI training and inference workloads
- Expertise in creating metrics for performance and operations
- Experience with Python
- Ability to use and debug NCCL
- Commitment to the NCCL library (potentially)
