Job Description
The Literacy Specialist will provide outstanding instruction in reading intervention classes, ensure students receive appropriate accommodations, and drive coaching to achieve academic success. The role involves coordinating and directing testing, overseeing EB compliance work, and providing one-on-one or small group literacy instruction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission, drive for results, and a commitment to the core values of YES Prep Public Schools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
- A Valid Texas Teaching Certificate, with ESL or Bilingual certification
- 3 years of literacy teaching in the classroom
- Belief in and commitment to the mission and core value of YES Prep Public Schools
