Job Description
The Lifeguard creates and maintains a safe, positive, and engaging Aquatics atmosphere that promotes member safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Patrol and monitor the active natatorium
- Activate EAPs, rescue swimmers, and provide appropriate first aid and care to injured members
- Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations
- Performs checks on equipment, water quality, and facility cleanliness
- Attends all staff meetings and Inservice training
