The Swim Coach will create an engaging team environment with emphasis on safety, fun, and skill progression, and build confidence of participants in the swim program.
Requirements
- Certifications in Red Cross Safety Training for Swim Coaches (or equivalent), YSL or WSI, and completion of YMCA program-specific trainings upon hire
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding and Administering Emergency Oxygen certifications preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Six months or two seasons of related experience in related aquatic programming
- Able to demonstrate technically correct swimming techniques
