Job Description
The Swim Instructor teaches swim lessons in accordance with YMCA policies and Y-USA instructor training. The position requires a variety of skills, including planning and teaching swim instruction, maintaining equipment inventory, and evaluating individuals' abilities and needs.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age
- YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor certification preferred
- Great communication and listening skills
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people
- Completion of YMCA required training upon hire
