The role involves reviewing journal entries, handling complex reconciliations, and ensuring completeness of financial data prior to reporting.
Requirements
- Manage month-end close activities for assigned accounts, ensuring timely completion
- Prepare journal entries and validate accuracy before posting
- Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations and clear open items
- Investigate unusual variances and ensure corrective actions are taken
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for reporting and audits
- Ensure all accounts are reconciled and supported before close sign-off
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve missing or incorrect data
- Maintain control over account balances and supporting documentation
- Ensure all assigned accounts are fully reconciled and supported before close sign-off
