Staff Software Development Engineer - Python

Zscaler is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Python to lead the design and implementation of their Risk360 product using an AI-first development methodology. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data-intensive environments, test-driven development, and cloud-native environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably in data-intensive environments
• 5+ years of Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience in Java or Python
• Proven experience building and operating LLM or agent-based systems, including state management and agent workflows
• Technical proficiency in cloud-native environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience managing and utilizing CI/CD systems like Jenkins or Bamboo
