Staff Software Engineer - iOS

PayPal is looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to drive the architecture and delivery of Pay with Venmo experience on iOS. The role requires extensive experience building and shipping consumer iOS apps, with at least 2 years at staff-level scope. The ideal candidate will have expert-level Swift, deep knowledge of iOS platform technologies, and a proven history of raising the technical bar.

Requirements

• Act as a project or system leader, coordinating the activities of other engineers on the project or within the system
• Determine the technical tasks that other engineers will follow
• Proactively improve existing structures & processes
• Exercise judgement in reconciling diverse and competing priorities (time, quality, complexity risk) to identify optimal solutions to problems
• Collaborate with management to set/improve standards for engineering rigor
