Job Description
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Global Payments Reconciliation team, responsible for the preparation, analysis, and resolution of general ledger account reconciliations across multiple PayPal-owned products.
Requirements
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification
- Experience with SAP HANA, SQL, or other database query tools
- Prior experience in high-volume payments reconciliation or transaction processing environments
- Familiarity with multi-currency, multi-entity reconciliation across global banking partners
- Demonstrated interest in process automation, AI/ML tools, or data analytics applied to accounting workflows
- Experience with Jira or similar workflow management tools for tracking reconciliation items and issues
