We're seeking an experienced Optical Office Manager to lead South Valley Optical operations, partner with the optometrist, and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- American Board of Orthodontics Doctor Certification (ABO) is preferred
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and inventory management
- Strong verbal, written and active listening skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sound decision-making, leadership, and coaching skills
- Demonstrated commitment to process improvement and operational excellence
- Good communication skills to interact with employees and all staff
- Strong knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) computer systems, OPD, Visual Field, OPTOS, Tonometry, and OCT machines
- Strong knowledge of eyeglass lenses, how to complete successful quality inspection of lenses
- Strong knowledge of insurance application, and billing
- Proficient knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel and Outlook)
