Job Description
Our downtown Edmonton client is seeking a Senior AML Analyst for a 6â12 month contract, with potential to transition to a permanent opportunity.
Requirements
- 2â3 years of AML/KYC compliance experience within a Canadian federally or provincially regulated financial institution.
- Handsâon experience with AML monitoring platforms (Verafin strongly preferred).
- Experience conducting provincial corporate registry searches and utilizing credit bureau tools (Equifax, TransUnion).
- Working knowledge of PCMLTFA, FINTRAC guidance, and KYC/CDD requirements.
- Familiarity with sanctions screening and PEP identification processes.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with Regional Offices and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple review cycles and meet required deadlines.
