Radiology Assistant (Mammography)-Full Time, Day/Evening

The Radiology Assistant performs patient-related clerical, maintenance, and direct patient care activities to facilitate safe, effective, and confidential patient care.

Requirements

• Greet patients, visitors, family members, physicians, and Associates in a courteous and professional manner.
• Transport patients safely and effectively by wheelchair or stretcher.
• Prepare procedure rooms for examinations or procedures.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and materials.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, standards, and protocols.
• Remain proficient in the use Radiology/Information Management systems.
• Participate in Performance improvement activities.
• Collect films/CDs, obtain comparison films, and record patient and procedural data.
