Sterile Processing Technician - Central Sterile, Full Time, Day

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, disinfection, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of instruments, supplies, and linens, and assembling surgical case carts in Sterile Processing. The role requires maintaining established departmental policies, adhering to quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Current certification in Sterile Processing Technology required at time of hire or placement date
• Minimum of two years of Sterile Processing experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a high stress area
• Computer skills preferred
• Ability to operate automated and technical equipment
