Job Description
This is an emergency veterinary hospital seeking experienced veterinary nurses/technicians for a challenging and rewarding role. Technicians will be responsible for patient care, surgery, diagnostics, and discharge.
Requirements
- Technicians should be physically able to restrain, move and lift patients.
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math functions.
- Ability to operate standard and specialized veterinary medical equipment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Induce and monitor anesthesia and surgery prep.
- Triage/patient history.
- CPR
- Bandage/splint placement.
- Digital radiography.
- Surgical prep.
- Venipuncture.
- IVC placement.
- Client education and patient discharge.
