The company is seeking a Senior IP Network Engineer to join its IP Networks Team and help design, build, and manage the future of its global IP infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years as an IP/Networking Engineer
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing high-availability, scalable intercontinental networks
- Mobile IP Networks & Backhaul: Extensive experience designing and managing IP-based mobile backhaul networks for 4G/5G
- SD-WAN & SDN: Proven expertise with SD-WAN and SDN technologies like Cisco ACI
- IPv6 & QoS: Strong experience with IPv6 deployment and QoS configuration
- Data Center & Backbone Design: Skilled in designing and managing global IP backbones and interconnected data centers
- Advanced Network Protocols: Expert-level knowledge in TCP/IP stack, including TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, DNS, NTP, and other essential protocols
- Network Security & Compliance: Expertise in IPSec VPNs, security hardening, and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO27001, CIS)
- Layer 2 & Layer 3 Management: Hands-on experience managing Layer 2 (STP, MSTP) and Layer 3 multiservice networks with MPLS and traffic engineering
- Network Automation & IaC: Proficient in Terraform, Ansible, and other tools to automate network provisioning and streamline deployments
- Network Monitoring & Observability: Expertise in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, SNMP, and Wireshark for network monitoring and performance optimization
- High-Performance Networking: Proven ability to design and optimize solutions for WAN optimization, traffic engineering, and latency reduction
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership skills in mentoring engineers, driving network strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
