We are looking for an individual with passion for accounting who will embrace continuous improvement, and will drive themselves and those around them to perform successfully in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. This role will report into the Chief Accounting Officer and oversee the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting and the Director of Accounting Operations which covers A/R and A/P.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership roles within high growth SaaS or technology companies
- CPA, or equivalent, required
- Understanding of revenue, related technical accounting concepts in accordance with the U.S. GAAP and complex SaaS revenue models
- Deep understanding for internal and external financial reporting needs
- Proven track-record of running efficient monthly close processes, handling internal and external audits, and managing auditor relationships
- Excellent people leadership skills
- AI forward thinking with ability to leverage tools and agents to enable a more efficient accounting function without sacrificing accuracy
- Ability to inspire and recognize the team while working under tight deadlines and managing multiple competing priorities
- Ability to set standards, multi-task and work with minimal supervision while adhering to essential deadlines
- Ability to lead problem-solving efforts while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate teamwork skills
- Advanced expertise in accounting systems, ability to understand problems, envision solutions and influence teams towards right systematic or manual solutions
- Experience with any data visualization tools, such as Looker, is considered a significant asset
- Proven experience leading revenue accounting within a high growth SaaS organization at scale, with demonstrated success scaling processes through rapid growth
