Hardware Technician - Hands

We're looking for an experienced Hardware Technician to join the Hands team at 1X. As a Hardware Technician, you will work closely with all hardware and software disciplines to design, fabricate, and test electromechanical prototypes, helping accelerate product development and innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in robotics, automotive, consumer electronics hardware development organizations
• Experience with electrical testing equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies and data logging
• Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Onshape for creating 3D models and engineering drawings
• Strong hands-on experience with 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, manual machining tools, and hand tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative, hands-on approach to hardware development
• Experience creating detailed documentation, including assembly guides and test procedures
