Develop high-performance electric drive units for humanoid robots, design and optimize mechanical subsystems, and ensure manufacturability for mid- and high-volume manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with CAD (Onshape preferred)
- Experience with structural FEA
- Hands-on experience designing electric actuators and/or motor-transmission assemblies
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques to ensure manufacturability for mid- and high-volume manufacturing
- Experience bringing complex products from concept to production
- Strong prototyping skills and intuition for efficient concept validation
