Job Description
We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. As a Senior Staff Safety Analytics & Metrics Engineer, you will lead the definition, analysis, and communication of quantitative safety metrics that track safety performance across the robot lifecycle.
Requirements
- M.S. or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in safety analytics, system performance, or reliability engineering for safety-critical products
- Expertise defining and implementing metrics for complex, real-world systems
- Proficiency in Python and SQL to analyze large-scale fleet data and build statistically sound metrics
- Proven ability to reason about risk, uncertainty, and confidence levels
- Strong quantitative and statistical reasoning skills
- Excellent technical writing skills for both internal audiences and public-facing safety communication
