The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer plays a critical role in building and scaling a comprehensive, enterprise-wide cybersecurity program. This role is responsible for designing secure architecture, implementing modern security controls, and strengthening threat detection, incident response, and risk management capabilities across diverse environments.
Requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain security architecture across cloud, network, endpoint, and identity environments
- Deploy and optimize core security technologies including SIEM, EDR, IAM, PAM, and vulnerability management tools
- Build and mature cybersecurity programs aligned with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and HIPAA requirements
- Lead technical investigations and response efforts for security incidents while enhancing detection and response capabilities
- Implement vulnerability management processes and partner with teams to prioritize and remediate risks
- Improve security monitoring through log management, alert tuning, and detection engineering, including automation of workflows
- Support compliance initiatives, audits, and security assessments across regulated environments
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to ensure secure system design and integration of security controls
