Development Associate

314 Action is seeking a Development Associate to help expand their nationwide fundraising network and grow their donor base. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of political fundraising experience or leadership experience in development and fundraising. The Development Associate will work closely with the Deputy Development Director and other members of the organization leadership staff to manage day-to-day operations of the Development program, including scheduling meetings and calls, database management, event support, and major donor stewardship.

Requirements

• Self-starter with 1-2 years of political/campaign/electoral or nonprofit experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Docs
• Proficiency in NGP, ActBlue
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with extreme attention to detail
• An entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Hard working and highly organized
