Job Description
Blitt & Gaines, P.C. is seeking a motivated Collector to manage and recover past-due accounts for clients. This role involves direct communication with consumers, negotiating settlements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of debt collection laws and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Maintain and update assigned accounts within the collections system
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements
- Accurately update customer account information
- Verify and confirm account details and banking information
- Process secure payments
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate professionally
- Ensure adherence to legal and compliance policies
- Assist with projects and other tasks
