Requirements
- 5+ years' experience as a Hadoop Admin/Architect
- Experience with Hadoop Big Data through all phases of systems development
- Installation, upgrade, patching, configuration, and support for Hadoop components
- Experience interacting with business teams impacted by Hadoop/Big Data
- Managing user security and groups for permissions within HDFS and understanding File ACLs
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Managing priorities and workload
- Backup and recovery/disaster recovery knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/Comp Sci or related field
