PL/SQL Developer

360 IT Professionals is a California-based Minority Business Enterprise specializing in IT consulting and staffing. The company has over 30 IT staffing services contracts across the USA and works with Fortune 500 companies and key private sector agencies. They are seeking a PL/SQL Developer to work in Pittsburgh, PA, for a 6-12 month contract. The role will involve developing and maintaining backend SQL and PL/SQL code for an Oracle Operational Data Store and will require expert-level SQL and PL/SQL skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.

Requirements

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement solutions as part of the R2R FA systems development team.
• Develop and maintain complex and optimized Oracle SQL, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures and functions.
• Develop and maintain logical design of Oracle tables, views, indexes.
• Work with R2R Application Architects and other team members to understand the application's functional needs and requirements
• Provide feedback on and adhere to delivery dates.
• Identify potential process improvements and provide technical recommendations where appropriate.
• Prepare documentation of program development, modifications to code, testing in compliance with standard operating procedures and SOX requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, scripts and cases and perform unit and comprehensive testing to ensure overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues and problems, monitor progress against plan, and communicate status to Leads
• Must be able to communicate effectively, work in a team environment and think analytically.
