Cloud FinOps & DevOps Engineer

Join Solventum as a Cloud FinOps & DevOps Engineer and play a critical role in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure. Drive financial discipline, build tooling and automation, and enable AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and decision making across engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, FinOps, or platform operations
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including cost management, compute, storage, and managed services
• Experience designing or supporting automation, scripting, or tooling (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines)
• 2 years of Cloud cost observability tooling experience (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Trusted Advisor) to investigate spend drivers and support anomaly/root-cause workflows
• Strong executive-level presentation skill with experience presenting to senior leadership and large audiences
• Strong understanding of production systems, operational reliability, and risk-aware change management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and finance teams
• 1+ years of experience using AI / generative AI tools to accelerate workflows
