Application Engineer for Display Materials Solutions Division, Global R&D/APAC Key Account

Role Overview

APAC Key Account within Display Materials Solutions Division(DMSD), global R&D is a team of application engineers working across the important Korean Key Accounts for DMSD business. Key Account technical organization is to build our future pipeline of new products and applications. At the same time, the team delivers spec-in products to customers’ NPI programs with challenging timelines and high expectations.

What You Will Do

Application engineer working closely with customers and DMSD cross-functional teams. Primary focus is on OCA and optical films for Korean companies producing display panels and integrated systems. Drives growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and new product commercialization, extensions of new and existing technologies or products.

Contributions may include successful project completion, customer support during new product commercialization, including developing data packages or user information, and/or increased customer satisfaction via technical troubleshooting or support. Provides technical insights to new product development, product modification, technology development, process development.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MS or higher) in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Min. 3+years of experience in related industry
• In-depth technical knowledge to provide expertise, support, and services to external customers
• Clear communication skill with cross-functional colleagues and customers is required.
• Collaboration with colleagues and customers to innovate, influence, and/or negotiate when required.
• Fluent in English
