The Print Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing routine adjustments on high-speed printing and finishing equipment. This role includes handling tasks related to printing, binding, collating, duplicating, and finishing printed materials, both manually and using automated machines.

Requirements

• Operate and maintain high-speed printing, duplicating, and binding machines.
• Perform tasks such as collating, binding, stapling, cutting, and padding printed materials.
• Fold, trim, and prepare paper according to production specifications.
• Make precision adjustments to printing and finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Set type and prepare machines for various printing jobs.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of machines.
• Assist with hand-collation tasks and manually handle printing jobs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and comply with safety and quality standards.
• Assist with additional duties as required in the printing and production area.
