Printing Assistant/Material Handler

Tom James is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join their team as a Printing Assistant - Material Handler / Light Maintenance team member. The role will support direct-to-fabric printing operations and general facility upkeep, and is ideal for someone who enjoys learning new equipment and working in a production environment.

Requirements

• Good attention to detail
• Ability to identify flaws/variations in different patterns and color identification
• Ability to handle materials such as cotton, silk, viscose, wool, nylon, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or 100 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to use measuring devices, tape measures, measuring cups, and understand fluid ounces, milliliters, and pounds/grams conversions
• Ability to use hand and power tools to perform maintenance and mixing responsibilities
• Ability to use material handling equipment - pallet jacks, hand trucks, ladders, banding equipment
