Southern Company Gas is seeking a Design Engineer to support the planning, design, and technical development of natural gas infrastructure projects. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs for gas distribution, storage, and fueling station systems.

Requirements

• Design components and functionality for pipeline and gas facility projects
• Support gas storage and fueling station design assignments
• Assist with mechanical equipment maintenance planning and support
• Conduct system balance assessments to identify and resolve system performance issues
• Provide technical oversight and support during construction phases
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
