Mechanical Project Manager

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to deliver project objectives, including planning, scope, schedule, and budget, team coordination, stakeholder communication, risk management, resource management, quality assurance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and specifying HVAC and plumbing systems of various sizes and complexities, as well as project management and business development experience.

Requirements

• Oversee and perform engineering calculations and assessments
• Conduct and lead field investigations, HVAC load studies, energy modeling, code reviews
• Oversee the design and drafting tasks of junior engineering staff
• Coordinate project designs with client specifications and local, city, state code requirements
• Navigate complex issues in preparing mechanical designs and assisting with construction issues
• Serve as project manager on mechanically driven facilities projects
• Monitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements
• Develop Project Management plans for assigned projects
• Establish project pricing and budgets
• Create and maintain project schedules
• Develop and maintain project specific quality plans
• Develop and coordinate project scope
• Participate in client presentations, coordination, and marketing efforts
• Oversee and manage assigned staff working on project
• Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals
• Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals
• Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management
