Job Description
DevSecOps Engineer is seeking to support the DoW in building a next-generation Air Force aircraft maintenance platform. The platform leverages Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud, and Apigee. DevSecOps Engineers on this team architect and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure within a high compliance environment, with a primary focus on automation and security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools)
- Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices
- Experience with cloud networking, identity, and access management concepts
- Experience working with Linux-based (Red Hat) systems
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Familiarity with vulnerability management and secure configuration practices
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- CompTIA Security+ certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
