Job Description
Database Administrator position in Malacca, Malaysia. Key responsibilities include performing health checks on databases, ensuring backup and replication are in place, and providing 24/7 support. Also responsible for handling incidents, managing junior DBAs, and meeting business needs. Must be a Malaysian citizen with at least 2 years of experience in production database management.
Requirements
- Familiarity with MSSQL, MYSQL, ORACLE, or MongoDB
- Experience with database health checks, backup, and replication
- Ability to work 24/7 on rotation basis
- Strong troubleshooting and tuning skills
- Experience with database migration between versions and platforms
