Job Description
Test Equipment Engineer responsible for defining test processes, evaluating test processes, and maintaining test fixtures. Collaborates with production, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement on quality, efficiency, and test cycle time.
Requirements
- Define test process and understand test requirement and specification
- Establish test process for manufacturing and create work instruction
- Evaluate test process and create test Process control, PFMEA and Risk assessment
- Drive for continuous improvement on quality, efficiency and test cycle time
- Maintain test fixtures and perform preventive maintenance
- Develop troubleshooting guides for test technicians
- Participate in new product transfer and coordinate team for training
- Coordinate with Engineering and Material department on spec, BOM and material changes/issues
- Liaise and coordinate with Quality department on Supplier quality and Customer quality issue
- Monitor and improve on the qualified process using SPC and other statistical tools
