Cloud Engineer

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution as a cloud Operations Engineer. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems and work without considerable direction, mentoring and supervising team members. Work in AWS Cloud infrastructure as well as the Army's integrated systems within the cloud.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, networking, storage, memory, compute instances, or tools for DevOps such as automating builds in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, cloud formation, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues for CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions
• Knowledge of provisioning and triaging issues for cloud instance networking, computing, memory, or storage, and setting up servers that the platform is on, including VMs and networks
• Ability to use active learning and analytical thinking within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or System Administration and 2+ years of experience in DevOps, or 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree
• CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, SSCP, CISSP, or DoD compliance IAT II or III Certification
