The Enterprise Cybersecurity BigID Engineer will leverage BigID’s AI-powered data security platform to discover, classify, and protect sensitive data across cloud, on-premises, and AI environments, implementing advanced data loss prevention (DLP) strategies to address unauthorized exfiltration risks and support compliance with standards like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DLP engineering or data security
- Experience in cybersecurity tools, such as Microsoft Purview, Trellix, or Tenable
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python for workflow automation and integration
- Experience in supporting the development and tuning of DLP policies to reduce false positives and mitigate data leakage scenarios
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to mature DLP programs and train stakeholders on using BigID dashboards and tools
