Kubernetes Platform Engineer, Senior

We are seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineer, Senior to operate and maintain distributed and managed platform services, including automating the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of system components. The role involves tuning systems for performance, reliability, and efficiency, planning and managing software releases and feature deployments, and supporting users through platform consolidation and optimization efforts.

Requirements

• Experience with containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including GitLab
• Experience administering storage and networking environments and performing network and requirement analysis, system availability reviews, and risk assessments
• Experience managing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining platforms and integration tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, EKS, and Ceph
• Experience migrating applications in hybrid cloud, disconnected, or air-gapped environments
• Experience writing automation and provisioning scripts such as Ansible playbooks, Linux automation, Windows PowerShell, and basic API integrations
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
