Model Based Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Model Based Systems Engineer to support the advancement of the Department of Defense's mission. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying model-based systems engineering and using SysML, with a strong ability to develop and apply modeling standards and best practices. The role will involve developing practices and standards, recommending common modeling framework and required model elements and diagrams, and providing guidance on model data tagging, security marking, discoverability, cataloging, and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in applying model-based systems engineering through development of system models for defense or aerospace programs
• 5+ years of experience with using SysML
• 2+ years of experience in applying metrics suites, custom profiles, and validation rules to system models
• Ability to develop and apply modeling standards and best practices
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology field
• CSMP Level 2 or OCSMP Model Builder- Intermediate Certification
