Textile Engineer

As a Textile Engineer, you'll help address material challenges or digital transformation gaps in clothing and footwear, bringing your expertise in textile properties, testing, and industry standards to create innovative, high-quality solutions that meet rigorous performance and quality benchmarks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience analyzing performance requirements for clothing, footwear, or individual equipment solutions
• Experience with textile testing standards, such as AATCC, ASTM, ISO, and SATRA
• Experience with fibers, yarns, fabrics, and garment construction
• Experience with data-informed analysis on government specification documents, such as Mil-Specs, Mil-Standards, Purchase Descriptions (PDs), and Commercial Item Descriptions (CIDs)
• Knowledge of sizing and fit, grading, block pattern development, apparel defects, quality assurance, quality control, and prototyping
• Ability to develop solutions within a collaborative and cross-functional team environment
