Cloud Engineer

66degrees is an end-to-end AI transformation partner that guides enterprises from complex business challenges to clear, quantifiable outcomes. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to build and maintain complex infrastructure and data systems on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for our global clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar platforms
• In-depth understanding of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, and IAM
• Experienced in deploying and optimizing Google Cloud Data services
• Skilled in scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation and configuration management
• Strong grasp of security best practices, compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Passion for technology and continuous learning
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification (preferred)
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience
