System Administrator

66degrees is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our Managed Services team, responsible for maintaining the security, stability, and automation of a complex hybrid environment.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server (2016-2022) and Linux Distros.
• Proficiency in GCP (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Architect preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible (playbooks/roles) and Packer.
• Experience with WSUS, SCCM, Azure Update Manager, or Linux-native tools (YUM/APT/Satellite).
• Strong understanding of CVEs, SSL/TLS, and hardening benchmarks (CIS/STIG).
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical risks and maintenance windows to stakeholders.
• Meticulous documentation habits for change management and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
