Product Designer

7shifts is a scheduling and payroll platform designed to help restaurant teams thrive. The Product Designer will create user-friendly experiences that address customers' problems and tackle challenges in the restaurant industry. The role involves brainstorming, prototyping, and testing concepts, as well as partnering with engineers and contributing to design team rituals. The ideal candidate has experience in Product Design, AI practice, and strong communication skills, with a portfolio of web and/or mobile work. The role offers a base compensation range of 80,000-115,000 and a hybrid work environment with offices in Saskatoon and Toronto.

Requirements

• Experience in a Product Design role on cross-functional teams in a SaaS environment
• A working AI practice, you actively use AI tools in your design workflow
• Strong communication skills that let you articulate design decisions clearly
• Proficiency in Figma and collaborative design tools
• Fluency across the full design process, from research and problem definition through ideation, prototyping, validation, and iteration
• A portfolio of web and/or mobile work that shows not just what you made, but how you think, your process, your decisions, and the problems you solved
